From September 11 to 12, 2025, the 2025 Dassault Systèmes SIMULIA Greater China User Conference was grandly held in Shenzhen. Coinciding with the 20th anniversary of the SIMULIA brand, this conference took "Virtual Worlds for Real Life" as its theme, focusing on the 3D UNIV+RSES development vision and cutting-edge multiphysics simulation technologies. It set up a main venue and five parallel sessions covering structural simulation, electromagnetic simulation, fluid simulation, and other fields.
The conference attracted over 400 experts, industry representatives, and technical elites in the simulation field from home and abroad to gather together, conducting in-depth exchanges around the future direction of digital twin and intelligent simulation. Dr. He Fang, Chief Expert of Connection Systems at Zhejiang Zhaolong Interconnect Technology Co., Ltd. and member of the Dassault Systèmes SIMULIA Champion Program, led a team of core R&D personnel from Zhaolong's engineering R&D department to attend the conference.
On the morning of the 12th, at the SIMULIA Champion Ambassador Honor Ceremony, Dr. He Fang was awarded the title of “SIMULIA User Conference Brand Ambassador”.
On the afternoon of the 12th, Dr. He Fang delivered a speech entitled “Simulation Research on Transient Discharge During Live Mechanical Operation of Connectors” at the Electromagnetic Simulation Parallel Session. Aiming at the arc ablation problem caused by accidental live plugging and unplugging of connectors in PoE power supply scenarios, his team proposed an innovative simulation solution: predicting the temperature characteristics of the contact plating surface during extra-low voltage arc discharge through CST electromagnetic-thermal bi-directional coupled simulation. This solution can verify the feasibility of the scheme in the conceptual design stage of product development by comparing with IEC 60512-9-3 tests.
Currently, Zhaolong’s R&D team uses the CST Studio Suite electromagnetic simulation software as an auxiliary development tool for products such as connectors and cables. In the conceptual design stage of products, it verifies the signal integrity of design schemes through electromagnetic simulation technology, and can predict the overall transmission characteristics of connection systems through system co-simulation.
