Congratulations to Dr. He Fang on Winning the 2025 “Advanced Individual in Standardization Work” Award from China’s National Information Technology Standardization Technical Committee

Recently, the plenary meeting of the Information Technology Equipment Interconnection Subcommittee of China’s National Information Technology Standardization Technical Committee ((TC 28/SC 25) was successfully held in Beijing. The conference commended comrades who made outstanding contributions to information technology standardization work in 2025’s China, and awarded Dr. He Fang, Chief Expert and Laboratory Director of Zhaolong Interconnect’s Connectivity Systems, along with seven other individuals, the title of “2025 Advanced Individual in Standardization Work”.

Dr. He Fang holds a PhD from the University of Manchester, UK, and is an elected Senior Member of IEEE. With 16 years of extensive industry experience in the fields of cables and connectivity systems, he has been deeply involved in the formulation of multiple international and intercontinental standards. Since joining Zhaolong Interconnect, he has actively promoted the coordinated development of enterprise standardization initiatives and technological innovation.

Applying international standards expertise to domestic practice, Dr. He led a 14-person team and, within one year, spearheaded the conversion of seven mainland patents and six Taiwan region patents, and participated in the formulation of six national standards and five industry standards.

This award recognizes not only Dr. He’s individual contributions in the field of standardization, but also highlights Zhaolong Interconnect’s proactive role as a high-tech enterprise in promoting orderly industry development and fostering the integration of technological innovation with standards. In the first half year of 2025, Zhaolong Interconnect obtained 13 domestic and overseas patent grants, including three invention patents (one overseas), and took part in drafting one association standard. Building on this momentum, the company will further strengthen its standardization efforts, contributing to collaborative innovation and sustainable development across the industrial chain with more advanced technologies and a more comprehensive standards system.
