What Is an RJ45 Connector?

An RJ45 connector is a standardized physical interface widely used for Ethernet communication (IEEE 802.3 standard) and serves as the core hub for data transmission between devices. It connects computers, switches, routers, industrial controllers and other equipment via 8-core twisted-pair cables (CAT 5e / CAT 6 / CAT 6A, etc.), carrying electrical signal transmission.

In industrial settings, the RJ45 is not only the foundation of ordinary network connections but also a key interface for Industrial Ethernet (such as Profinet, EtherCAT), ensuring reliable exchange of control commands and real-time data.

Zhaolong can provide two types of industrial RJ45 connectors:
